Hopefully all of you can make it in-person to tonight's Organizational Meeting. If not, we're going to try and live blog the discussion using the CoverItLive application below. Bear with us however, we're not the world's fastest typers, plus we'll be trying to participate in the discussion as well!
The meeting is scheduled to start at 5:30 p.m. tonight (Saturday, November 7th).
N.E.R.D.S. is a local Meetup Group of gamers, Browncoats, Trekkies, computer geeks, etc. We had the pleasure of meeting a few N.E.R.D.S. (Niche Enthusiasts Really Doing Stuff) at our October shindig where they gave us a fair run for our money at Browncoat Pictionary. Now they've invited us to join their crowd this weekend for a Harry Potter versus Lord of the Rings trivia tournament.
Saturday, October 24th
The Community Room at Bookmans Phoenix
NW Corner of 19th Avenue and Northern in Phoenix
*The N.E.R.D.S. calendar says the event starts at 6:00 p.m., but the description of the evening (listed below) says 5:00 p.m. If you're interested, you may want to double-check that time beforehand.
If you caught Tuesday's AzBc Membership meeting or have had a chance to read the recap online, you should already be prepared for this announcement. If not, I'll catch you up now...
Edit: The meeting is now finished, but you can read a recap of the meeting by clicking "replay" on the application below.
Just a quick reminder that October's General Membership Business Meeting is tomorrow night (Tuesday, October 13th), online, at 7:30 p.m. Just pull up this story when it's time and use the application below (click read more if you don't see the application).

Did you miss Can't Stop the Serenity this year? Or perhaps you came, but are now wishing you had bought one of those shiny pendants or taken home a cushy t-shirt pillow. Well, we're giving you one last chance to get your 2009 CSTS gear.
Unofficially, according to our books, Tucson brought in about $3300 while Phoenix pulled in at least $5500. The fine folks at the global CSTS campaign headquarters allow us one month to officially close the books on our event. Meaning, in addition to making sure all our i's are dotted and t's are crossed accounting-wise, we still have approximately another week to add to our totals if y'all still want to contribute. And, if you're gonna give us some of your hard earned coin, why not get something in return?
I'll be bringing all the leftover merchandise to the shindig tonight at Bookmans (7 p.m. at Bookmans Phoenix in the Community Room - NW corner of 19th Avenue and Northern). Bring cash or your check book and be prepared to shop. Depending on my mood, I might even be willing to haggle with you on some prices. (c: Remember, all the proceeds go to charity.
See you tonight!
P.S. After tonight we're gonna work super hard to get you the official totals ASAP.
