Update on Alternative Shindigs for March and April

March Alternative Shindig
Renaissance Festival – Saturday, March 13th or Saturday, March 20th

As we discussed at the February meeting, the March Alternative Shindig will a trip to the Renaissance Festival in Apache Junction. The date of Saturday, March 13th was originally suggested. So far, not enough people have signed up for us to be eligible for the group discount ticket price (15 or more people). There were 6 people that signed up to go on March 13th. We've since found out there are Arizona Browncoats headed to the Festival on March 20th as well....(more after the jump)

Alternative Shindigs - Looking for help

It has come to my attention that the person who initially volunteered to coordinate our first Alternative Shindig must temporarily take off the party-planning hat. So I come to you folks looking for someone, or a few someones, interested in picking it up. Specifically, as we've previously discussed at our business meetings, I would like to see at least one additional, non-Bookmans shindig per each quarter: spring, summer, fall, winter.
