CSTS

CSTS Broadwave

So each year a handful of us sit down and discuss whether it's really worth it to do another Can't Stop The Serenity event. "Serenity was four years ago," they say, "what's the point?" Well, read on doubters. This is copied from an email sent out by the CSTS Global Coordinators. Keep in mind that Arizona donated $8,420.79 to Equality Now this year. The remainder of the $9,351.48 went to local charities and isn't counted in the global total.

2009 Official CSTS Totals for the Arizona Browncoats

Well it took a little longer than expected to get here, but I am excited to say I can finally announce the official totals for this year's Can't Stop The Serenity, and they are exciting!

Last Chance For CSTS Merchandise! Tonight at Bookmans Phoenix!

Did you miss Can't Stop the Serenity this year? Or perhaps you came, but are now wishing you had bought one of those shiny pendants or taken home a cushy t-shirt pillow. Well, we're giving you one last chance to get your 2009 CSTS gear.

Unofficially, according to our books, Tucson brought in about $3300 while Phoenix pulled in at least $5500. The fine folks at the global CSTS campaign headquarters allow us one month to officially close the books on our event. Meaning, in addition to making sure all our i's are dotted and t's are crossed accounting-wise, we still have approximately another week to add to our totals if y'all still want to contribute. And, if you're gonna give us some of your hard earned coin, why not get something in return?

I'll be bringing all the leftover merchandise to the shindig tonight at Bookmans (7 p.m. at Bookmans Phoenix in the Community Room - NW corner of 19th Avenue and Northern). Bring cash or your check book and be prepared to shop. Depending on my mood, I might even be willing to haggle with you on some prices. (c: Remember, all the proceeds go to charity.

See you tonight!

P.S. After tonight we're gonna work super hard to get you the official totals ASAP.

Phoenix CSTS goodies FTW!

According to the poll we've had running on the website for the past few weeks, 56% of you think great merch and shiny raffle prizes are what draw you to our Can't Stop The Serenity events. Well let me just say right now - you won't be disappointed. Even with a conscious effort on our part to cut down on our stress levels, we've still been working hard to produce a variety of unique products for which I can guarantee you'll be willing to hand over your hard earned coin. Here are a few special items you can expect to see at Phoenix's CSTS events:
