Renaissance Festival – March 13th or possibly March 20th

We did not get enough people for the group discount of 15 people. There were 6 people that signed up to go on March 13th. There are members that are going on March 20th. It might be more fun to have everyone go on the 20th. We can check how everyone feels about it on Saturday at the monthly shindig. If you’re going, you will need to get your own tickets.

Prices for the tickets at Fry’s:
• $18 for adults
• $8 for children 5-12 (under 5 always free).

• $20 for adults
• $10 for children 5-12 (under 5 always free).

Arizona Challenger Space Center - Saturday, April 17th

The Arizona Challenger Space Center is at 21170 North 83rd Ave, Peoria. The tour of the center cost $6 ($4 for students 6+ and senior citizens 55+), and the actually mission "Voyage to Mars" costs $17.50 ($15.00 for students and senior citizens 55+). The cost for both the tour and the mission would be just $17.50 ($15.00 for students and senior citizens 55+). The plan is to go in the morning for the tour, have lunch at a local restaurant, and then go on the mission in the afternoon. In order to get a mission we need at least 16 people on the mission "Voyage to Mars."

• Tour – 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM
• Lunch – 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM
• Mission – 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM

There is no age limit for children on the tour, and it's free for children under 5 years old. The mission does have an age limit. It is not recommended for students that are in the 2nd grade or under. Information is given at a 6th grade reading level, so children that are in the 3rd and 4th grade must fly with a ticketed adult.

We did get 11 people that signed up to go on the mission. I will need the money this Saturday at the monthly shindig in order to confirm our reservation. They will be opening it up to the public to try and get 5 more people to make it a successful experience. Feel free to invite family and friends along on the trip.
